Use Intent to Discover, Develop and Apply Integrated Strength

As we step into this new chapter together, I want to take a moment to reflect on exactly how we got here.

The program you are about to experience, Swimming Through Space, was not built in a vacuum. It is the living, breathing culmination of thousands of hours spent working with you—my online, in-person, and hybrid students. It is born from your honest feedback, the relentless evolution of my own daily practice, and the ever-blossoming wisdom of my teacher, Master Cheuk Fung, whose teachings somehow grow more profound the further down this path I walk.

To better serve you, wherever you happen to be on your journey, I have restructured our platform into two distinct subscription paths:

  • Energy, Calm, Power (ECP): This subscription is designed for practitioners who want to begin, reboot, or completely level up their personal practice. Here, we focus purely on the internal architecture—teaching you how to unlock the profound power of your Yi (intent) to transform your structure from the inside out.

  • The Way of Intent Guided Training: This tier is for those ready to go deeper. It provides content specifically aimed at taking the Integrated Strength you’ve forged on the practice floor and applying it to your daily activities, turning both the exciting (like self-defense) and the mundane into expressions of living art.

Swimming Through Space bridges these two worlds perfectly. Because of this, I want to personally invite all subscribers—no matter where you are in your training—to join this intensive. I firmly believe it will drastically accelerate your progress and maximize the return on your training investment.

If you have absolutely no previous experience, you are in exactly the right place. You do not need to memorize complex choreography to succeed here. Instead, we use a powerful hack of the subconscious that I call the Feelization process to bypass the intellectual traps that usually frustrate beginners. We go straight to the feeling, activating your frame from day one.

However, if you are a veteran practitioner, do not mistake this for a mere "basics" course.

Swimming Through Space is a surgical tool designed to break through plateaus and training stagnation. It will breathe new life into your forms, completely reframe traditional teachings that may have grown stale, and reinspire your daily routines so that your practice becomes the best part of your day.

Finally, you will notice a shift in how this content is delivered. Based directly on your feedback, I am no longer waiting until an entire massive program is complete before releasing it. Moving forward, I am releasing new programs and materials bit by bit. This allows you to digest, practice, and integrate the material in real-time as we build it together. Thank you for suggesting this, and thank you for your patience as I move things around behind the scenes to optimize our platform.

You are the architect of your training.

Let's get to work.

The Gravity Trap

Modern lifestyle & conveniences encourage us to lose whole body connectivity as our base state.

Look around you. Watch how people walk down the street, sit at their desks, or even train in the gym. You are witnessing bodies caught in the "Gravity Trap." We operate as disconnected collections of heavy parts, using exhausting, localized muscular tension to constantly fight gravity. We live in a brittle, lever-based biomechanical reality, prone to injury and fatigue.

But what if you didn't have to fight gravity? What if you could glide through your daily life, or deliver immense martial power, with the fluid, zero-inertia grace of a creature suspended in water?

Welcome to Swimming Through Space, a revolutionary intensive training module available to subscribers at The Way of Intent.

The Context: What is Swimming Through Space?

Swimming Through Space is not just another workout routine. It is a neurological rewiring protocol. Nestled within the broader ECP methodology, this self-contained intensive is specifically engineered as a launchpad.

The sensation of stasis being motion is obviated through the Swimming through Space program.

  • For the Beginner: It is a rapid, accessible entry point into internal martial arts, allowing you to bypass years of confusing choreography to directly access internal power.

  • For the Veteran Practitioner: It is a profound reboot. If your Tai Chi or Qigong practice has grown stale, rigid, or overly intellectual, this program will revive your "alive stasis" and return you to the true feeling of the art.

  • For Everyone: It is a masterclass in Intention-Based Training (using your Yi), proving that true structural transformation happens from the inside out.

Where Ancient Wisdom Meets Modern Science

The magic of Swimming Through Space lies at the exact intersection of ancient internal martial arts and cutting-edge performance science.

Nearly a century ago, Grandmaster Wang Xiangzhai, the founder of Yiquan, revolutionized Chinese martial arts by abandoning complex forms. He made his students stand perfectly still (Zhan Zhuang), telling them: "Seek movement in stillness." He instructed them to imagine standing in a flowing river, feeling the resistance of the water against every inch of their skin. For decades, outsiders thought this was mere mysticism.

Today, modern science has caught up. Biomechanists and connective tissue researchers have discovered Biotensegrity. We now know the body is not meant to be a stack of building blocks (bones) held together by rigid pulleys (muscles). It is a continuous, elastic web of fascia.

The Feelization Process

When Wang Xiangzhai told his students to imagine water, he was utilizing what we now call neuroplasticity. By using an intense visualization—a process we call Feelization—you trick your autonomic nervous system into "pre-stressing" your fascial web. You stop using isolated muscles and activate a spring-loaded, hydraulic tensegrity structure. The ancient masters discovered the software; modern science has finally mapped the hardware. Swimming Through Space gives you the user manual for both.

Part One: Activating Your Frame

The first section of the program is dedicated to discovering your raw materials. You cannot swim if your frame is broken.

Finding the 'sweet spot'
  • The Natural Stance: You will learn to map your skeletal alignment, setting the physical prerequisites for power.

  • Tension Release: Using the physiological sigh—a scientifically proven vagal nerve reset—you will melt away layers of invisible, habituated tension.

  • Sinking and Floating: You will use intent to isolate the profound heaviness of gravity (Sinking) and the buoyant upward push of the ground reaction force (Floating). You will "Memory Bank" these sensations so you can recall them instantly, anywhere, anytime.

Use imagery to tap the power of your subconcious.

Part Two: Shaping Your Activated Frame

Once the frame is activated, we forge it in the crucible of motion.

  • The Kelp Feeling: You will merge Sinking and Floating simultaneously, achieving an "Alive Stasis." You become like giant kelp: deeply rooted to the ocean floor, yet buoyantly suspended toward the surface.

  • The Internal Orbit: You will discover the microscopic, continuous sway of your center of mass, learning to "ride" this orbit to change your physical shapes without using isolated shoulder or arm muscles.

  • Yoking the Kua: You will learn the true internal half-step. You will stop "pushing" off the ground to walk, and instead learn to eccentrically load your fascial web, storing and releasing kinetic energy to glide effortlessly through space.

  • Grounding & Clearing: You will master a powerful somatic reset to flush stagnant energy and down-regulate your nervous system.

Part Three: Feeling the Space

In the final section of the intensive, we take your newly shaped, pressurized frame and set it into fluid motion through the environment. Part Three is where the ancient adage, "When one part moves, every part moves," finally becomes your physical reality. By profoundly shifting your sensory awareness to literally "feel the space" around you, you learn to slither and glide through the air as if it were thick water. You will stop using clunky, sectional muscles to push your body around, and instead learn to generate devastating, zero-inertia whole-body force.

  • The Foundation of the Kelp: Before you can swim, you must be suspended. You will learn to instantly recall the Kelp Feeling—that perfect tensegrity suspension between your heavy holdfast and your buoyant crown—as the non-negotiable launchpad for all locomotion.

  • The Jellyfish Feelization: You will adopt a powerful new organic metaphor. By expanding and contracting your entire fascial web like a jellyfish pumping through the water column, you will learn to displace the space around you to propel your mass forward.

  • The Unified Kinetic Chain: You will abandon the habit of isolating your limbs. By feeling the space and moving from your center, you will transform the simplest, most mundane gestures—a step, a reach, or a turn—into expressions of massive, integrated whole-body power.

The Goal

A silhouette in a martial arts pose is surrounded by glowing blue swirls, with a mystical, dark background.
Its not the shape of the form but how it feels that matters.

Swimming Through Space is about getting out of your head and into the Nowspace. It is the realization that the way a gesture looks is irrelevant; it is governed entirely by how it feels.

By joining the Energy, Calm, Power program today, you are not just learning a martial art. You are taking personal responsibility for your biology. You are learning to carry the ocean within you.
