The Energy, Calm, Power (ECP) course is a profound system of self-cultivation designed for deep, year-long self-study, backed by comprehensive support. It is a fusion of ancient internal martial arts (rooted in Yi Chuan lineage) and modern biomechanics (Tensegrity), delivering a direct method to unlock your latent capacities for resilience, vitality, and strength.
The program's philosophy is simple: We do not teach a technique; we teach a state. That state is Whole Body Tensegrity—a self-balancing, integrated structural integrity that transforms effort into flow.
Part I: The Core Progression—The DDA Spiral

The ECP course is structured around a continuous, overlapping Three-Phase Cycle that ensures systematic mastery. This is your personal Discover, Develop, Apply (DDA) spiral, where each rotation deepens your competence and spontaneity.
Phase 1: Foundation and Discovery (Conscious Awareness)
This phase is dedicated to establishing your Formal Daily Practice and shifting your attention from the mental static of the outside world into the Nowspace—a state of centered, present-time awareness.
Entering the Nowspace: You learn fundamental alignment techniques, such as Gravity Stacking the frame, coupled with essential practices like Grounding and Clearing. This discipline—often achieved through the Body Scan and Sigh Release—identifies and releases the unnecessary habitual tension that prevents you from feeling the integrated state.
The Power of Feelization: You are initiated into using intense Feelizations (mind-intention strong enough to induce a physiological change in your frame). These exercises, such as the Tree-Hugging Posture, are designed to hack the subconscious, bypassing the intellect to instantly trigger the state of integration.
Initial Mastery: Through daily, repeated application, you become increasingly familiar with fundamental alignments, capable of identifying and releasing tension, and begin to experience the integrated state through the repeated application of the Feelizations.

Phase 2: Activation and Polarity (Conscious Control)
As Phase 1 continues, the focus shifts to systematically activating and maintaining Whole Body Tensegrity in the frame.
The Trilibrium: This phase introduces the core structural procedure for activation: the Trilibrium. You learn to link and balance the Root & Branch (vertical extension), Gravity Stacking (alignment with the down-force), and the Uniting Open & Close (balancing expansion and containment).
Fundamental Movement: Fundamental Movement Patterns are introduced, designed to be circular and fluid (the Routes of Strength). These challenge you to maintain the Activated Frame in motion, experientially teaching you to receive and discharge strength within the frame's unity. This conditions the tendons, ligaments, and fascia, promoting simultaneous joint articulation and training the body to move in a more centered and powerful way.
Polarity Reversal: You begin to master the core concept of Flipping the Polarity—learning that integrated movement is achieved by pulling yourself through space with the flow of gravity (the Slurping Step) rather than pushing against it.
The Trilibrium: Unlocking the Activated Frame Through Balance—Illustrating the Three Steps: Gravity Stack, Root & Branch, and Open & Close, to Achieve Full Body Tensegrity.
Phase 3: Integration and Spontaneity (Subconscious Flow)
This phase challenges you to let go of the intellectual procedure and master the integrated state by feel, rather than method.
Recall Without the Hack: You are challenged to let go of the Feelization (the visualization) and instead activate the state simply by recalling the feeling into the Nowspace.
Freestyle Expression: More challenging permutations and combinations of step, stance, and shape are introduced. You evolve from practicing fixed patterns into a freestyle expression of integrated strength, maintaining the Snowflake Principle of endless internal variations within a single movement.
Testing and Feedback: You engage with training partners and equipment to test your personal practice. The goal is to make the frame self-correct under pressure, moving toward a point where you can intentionally connect and move in the integrated state without needing a procedure to do so.
Rather than silo our achievements with Integrated Strength, the ECP approach is to bring those achievements into activities both exciting and mundane, thereby greatly expanding your practice time, achievement potential and self defense capacity.
Phase 4: Application and Functional Longevity (Lifestyle Mastery)
This final, overlapping phase introduces Integrated Practice. This is the highest expression of mastery, where the Practice Pyramid flips, and your daily life becomes your most profound training.
Hijacking the Mundane: You take the achievements from your Formal Practice (which remains crucial for achieving new levels) and apply them to your life activities, both exciting and mundane. Simple life activities like walking (the Integrated Walk), standing, and sitting become exemplary of Energy, Calm, Power principles.
The Laboratory: Formal Practice becomes your R&D Lab, focusing pointedly on improving and enhancing chosen life activities. New levels are achieved, and new things to apply to Integrated Training are forged, leading to exponential freedom and growth.
